Feeling Bookish? Join us for a book-inspired wellness immersion!

Are the long winter nights calling you to sit by a cozy fire with a good book? Well, accept that invitation with a winter-themed nature-based book! In this session, we'll introduce you to several nature-based wellness books. Come and explore nature-based wintery wellness immersions that are book-inspired. Learn about the health and wellness benefits of reading and exploring nature in the winter months, and become inspired to get out and explore nearby nature opportunities. 

Wear your coziest slipped socks and bring your favorite hot beverage mug to the program. Hot water and tea bags will be provided.

What to know before you go:

  • This will be an indoor seated program with chairs provided. If you feel more comfortable on the floor, bring a yoga mat.
  • The program space is fully accessible to those in a wheelchair. 
  • The Centennial Barn is an inside venue with full climate control
  • Feel free to bring along water or another non-alcoholic beverage. Hot water and tea bags will be provided.
  • Ample free parking is available at Fort Hunter Park
  • Restroom facilities are available on-site
  • Program participants must be 18 years of age or older
